What We Do
We are a sister group to Delaware Head Huggers, an organization that donates handmade hats, caps and headbands to recovering patients throughout Delaware.
This began when a member of Head Huggers told me about a program such as this one that exists in Massachusetts.
It is estimated that between 400 and 500 children, each year, enter foster care here in Delaware. We also try to support local homeless shelters and schools as needs arise.
We began in January of 2010. Hopefully we can make at least a small difference to the hundreds to children in our foster care program.
